On October 29, 2025, Hai Phong Tourism College, in collaboration with Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company, organized for students of the Culinary Arts Engineering program a meaningful and creative event called “Searching for the Hai Phong Culinary Ambassador 2025” with the theme “Hai Phong Food Tour with Cholimex Food.” This was not only a hands-on experiential activity but also a vivid testament to the strong partnership between the school and businesses in training personnel for the culinary industry.

With an approach that pairs learning with practice and connects with businesses for sustainable development, Hai Phong College of Tourism always focuses on building practical collaborative training programs to help students access a professional work environment, improve vocational skills, and foster creative thinking. Nearly 10 years of partnering and growing together with the Cholimex Foods brand — a leading enterprise in Vietnam’s spice and food sector — clearly demonstrates the shared vision of cooperative development between the School and the Company.
The contest “Searching for the Hai Phong Culinary Ambassador 2025” is not only a competition to find talented students but also an opportunity for students to express their love for the port city's cuisine, discovering the refinement of Hai Phong’s food culture through each signature dish. Through this activity, students hone their cooking and food presentation skills, as well as learn how to promote, communicate, and tell culinary stories creatively — skills that are extremely important in the tourism and service industry.

The contest "Searching for the Hai Phong Culinary Ambassador 2025" was a brilliant success, being one of the important and meaningful activities of the School's Teachers and Students to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20.
