Logistics

In the context of deep international integration and the boom of e-commerce, the Logistics sector is becoming the backbone of the global supply chain. In Vietnam, Logistics is not only a spearheading industry for economic development but also an attractive field that opens up thousands of job opportunities each year. To keep pace with this development trend, Hai Phong College of Tourism (HCT) has implemented a modern, practical Logistics training program aligned with business needs, promising to become a solid "launchpad" for the younger workforce of the future.

Logistics is the activity of managing and coordinating the supply chain – from planning, storage, and transportation of goods to delivering services to the end customer. This is a field that requires accuracy, systems thinking, and the ability to organize scientifically.

Not limited to the transportation of goods, Logistics also includes warehouse management, inventory control, order management, import–export, customs, international logistics services, and supply chain technology (SCM – Supply Chain Management).

Why study Logistics at HCT?

+ A practical, trend-updated training program

The Logistics training program at HCT is designed to closely align with the practical needs of businesses and the industry’s competency standards. Students not only learn theory but also participate in real-world simulation scenarios, supply chain simulation games, and international logistics training according to ASEAN standards.

+ Learning by doing – Strong business partnerships

From the first year, students take part in observation and internships at major logistics companies both inside and outside Hai Phong city such as: Gemadept, Vinalines, Tan Cang, DHL, Lazada Logistics, DEEP C Industrial Zones,... Through these experiences, students have the opportunity to engage with real work environments, develop skills, and build a career foundation early on.

+ Teaching staff and industry advisors accompanying students

HCT brings together a team of highly qualified lecturers who have worked in logistics, import-export, and international transport. In addition, industry experts are regularly invited to teach specialized topics, provide career advice, and assess student competencies. This is a particular advantage that helps students gain a clearer understanding of the labor market and industry trends.
